Micro-enema, 6x9g

What is Micro-enema and when is it used?
Micro-enema with applicator is intended for single use in the lower intestinal tract. Each applicator contains a single dose of 9 g of glycerin rectal gel with chamomile and mallow extracts. The glycerin forms a film on the intestinal walls and softens hardened faeces through the absorption of water from the rectum.
The chamomile and mallow extracts calm and soothe the lining of the intestinal walls, protecting and moisturizing it.
The evacuation of the faeces takes place shortly after use.
Microenema  is suitable for short-term treatment of occasional constipation, as it lubricates and softens hardened faeces in the lower intestinal tract.
When should Micro-enema not be used?
Micro-enema cannot be used:
- if you are hypersensitive to any of the components (see “What does Micro-enema contain?");
- by children under 12 years of age.
If you suffer from chronic constipation, you should consult a doctor.
When is caution required when using Micro-enema?
No special precautions need to be taken when Micro-enema is used as prescribed. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are suffering from other diseases, have any allergies or are taking or using other medicines (including those purchased based on the doctor’s or pharmacist’s recommendations)!
Can Micro-enema be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Based on our current experience, there are no known risks to your baby if Micro-enema is used properly. However, systematic scientific investigations have not yet been carried out.  Micro-enema may be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. However, you should ask your doctor before use.
How should Micro-enema be used?
Adults: For single use, one dose corresponds to 9 g of glycerin rectal gel in the applicator. 1 applicator if needed no more than 1-2 times a day, or as prescribed.

Remove the cannula cover from the applicator by bending it at its base. Gently press the bellows on the applicator to lubricate the cannula with a drop of the glycerin rectal gel, then insert it into the rectum and squeeze the bellows. While keeping the bellows squeezed, remove the applicator and throw it away. It should start to take effect after a few minutes. After the gel has been inserted, it is recommended that evacuation be delayed slightly, in order to allow the glycerin to act on the hardened faeces. Strictly follow the dosage given in the leaflet or that prescribed by your doctor.

If you think that the effect is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
